TheCleani is made to automatically spray publicly used door handles with a disinfecting spray mist, based on door movement detection and/or based on a customizable timer setting.
TheCleani can be affixed to most doors, however the choice of doors is typically based on frequency of use and possibility of causing cross-contamination. Interior public entrances and bathrooms are ideal places for TheCleani.
TheCleani is affixed to a door by the adhesive pads on the back of the device OR by two screws on the back of the device (whichever option is preferred). The installation manual comes with the device and has easy-to-follow instructions and a template for application. See our Instruction Manual at the bottom of our 'Features' page.
TheCleani automatically sprays a door handle based on door movement detection and/or based on a customizable timer setting. These triggers can be paused when the room becomes dark by setting the device's 'light mode' to ON. Therefore, TheCleani can spray a door handle based on the frequency desired.
When a spray takes place, the teal blue light on the face of the device displays for 10 seconds, providing confirmation.
When a person touches a door handle, their hand most often connects with the topside of the handle. TheCleani device has been designed to spray a large percentage of the door handle, and to spray the area that has the concern for cross-contamination of bacteria and viruses.
The frequency of replacement will vary upon the spray frequency settings and the frequency of door handle usage. Please reference our instruction manual on our features page for instructions.
